La Siesta hotel is located in the resort of Playa De Las Americas, in the South of Tenerife and 300 metres from to the beautiful sandy beaches. Completely renovated in 2004 this impressive hotel has enormous rooms, luxury spa facilities and a wonderful location.
La Siesta hotel is four storeys high and comprises of a total of 282 large rooms (36 sq m to 56 sq m). They are double rooms with complete bathroom (bath with shower), hair dryer, lounge, direct dial telephone, music (music channel on television), satellite TV, mini bar (to rent), room safe (to rent), air conditioning (individually controlled), ample sized furnished terrace. A Club Alexandre upgrade is available. Club Alexandre rooms have either a pool view, or a terrace with private garden, or a hydro-massage bath. All guests in Club Alexandre rooms are entitled to one free entrance to the spa (to be used within the first two days of the stay), fresh fruit and water in the room on arrival and luxury in-room toiletries.
La Siesta hotel also has rooms located on ground floor near reception which are suitable for disabled people (on request), interconnecting rooms (on request), free baby cots available on request. King size beds are also available on request subject to availability. The rooms are cleaned daily, also towels are changed daily, bed linen is changed 2/3 times a week.
La Siesta Hotel restaurant El Drago is a modern style restaurant with international cuisine (also caters for vegetarians). Breakfast buffet is served from 07.00-10.00, Lunch buffet from 1pm-3pm & dinner from 7pm-10pm, drinks are not included. Half board includes breakfast and dinner. Picnics are available upon request. For late arrivals a cold meal can be provided in your room if ordered through your tour operator. For early departures breakfast can be provided before 7am on request.
La Siesta hotel also have a children's menus and chairs available.
Once a week there is a Canarian evening (Tuesday), Italian evening (Friday), barbecue (Thursday, with no extra supplement, but drinks are charged).
The restaurant has smoking and non-smoking areas and is air conditioned throughout. The El Bohio Bar is situated by the swimming pool and serves snacks, drinks & ice cream from 10am to 6pm. The Salon Bar is open from 5.30pm to 1am.
La siesta Hotel as an outdoor pool for adults and one for children (both heated and freshwater), a large garden and playground, sun-loungers, parasols, a brand new spa (supplement payable) with plunge pools, saunas, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, treatments, gym, beautician and hairdresser, two floodlit tennis courts (with charge), volleyball, darts, pool, free five-a-side football court, billiards, and table tennis (with charge). There is a mini-club for the children from 4 till 12 years. A full evening entertainment programme is provided. Themed evenings such as Canarian, Italian, Mexican or Spanish evenings take place each week, barbeque, bar with live evening entertainment.
